Clé De Peau Beauté - Radiant Lip Gloss 3 Charm - Review

When I saw that Clé de Peau was finally available at a German retailer, I was immediantly interested. It is a luxury brand that was founded in Japan. I love Japanese beauty products, since they tend to be more subtle and cutesy. Since I love lip products, and I have read great reviews on them, I went with the lip gloss. 

This is the Radiant Lip Gloss in the shade 3 Charm. All shades have crystal-related names, which I find really cute. Isn't the packaging so gorgeous? It manages to look sophisticated and flirty at the same time, and it feels quite heavy in my hand. 

Something special about this lip gloss, which I have never seen before, is the twisted applicator. It might look impractical, but the application is really smooth and fitting for the shape of my lips. The applicator does not give up too much product, just the right amount for an elegant look.

The website states that the color is a "calm, modest red". I would personally describe the shade as a rosy, muted nude pink. It is not too cool or warm toned, so I think it would look flattering on all undertones. It is really similar to the own color of my lips, so you could consider it a MLBB shade. It does add sparkle to my face and make it more lively, it is noticable but not flashy by any means. It is definitely the most wearable from the range. 

The finish is very sheer (which I do not consider to be a bad thing at all), but it might not show up on more pigmented lips. It has a shiny finish, but not too glossy. It is not sticky at all, more watery. It feels thin on the lips and it is almost not noticable.
You should definitely consider buying this if you prefer subtle glosses, similar to the ones from Chanel. Diffrent from the other shades in the range, this does not have any sparkle in it. 

Since it is a lip gloss, and a sheer one at that, you cannot expect great longevity. However, it lasted longer than I expected.
