Chanel - Rouge Allure Lipstick - Fall 2022 Collection - 198 Nuance, 204 Sensation - Review

I have waited for this Fall collection a long time. Among other things, Chanel has finally launched a range of nude lipsticks. A few of these colors are limited editions, so I picked up two of those. I love the shade range so much, that I might get more in the future. If you want to test out the shades, you can use the virtual try on on their official website. The colors are pretty true to how they actually look. 

You gotta love the Rouge Allure packaging. It opens up once you press in the golden part of the tube, then you will be able to pull out the golden part. It feels really steady and heavy. The design is classy. It is it what you expect a luxury lipstick to look like. 

198 - Nuance is my color for fall. I noticed that right away. It is a browny rusty reddish nude color. It has some blue in it, it is like the brown is slightly purpleish. It still has a warm undertone. In the tube it looks very dark, but it is a muted natural color that is easily buildable.

Look how natural it looks on my lips. For me it works as a MLBB shade for fall, though it is darker than my natural lip color.

The finish is creamy and slightly shiny. It does not dry the lips at all, and it wears for around 4 hours.

204 - Sensation is the most interesting color out of the whole shade range. It is basically a cool-toned plum shade, but it sticks out from the shade range because most of the shades aren’t that deep and cool-toned. 

This color applies a bit smoother than the other shade and is not as pigmented. Therefore it looks different and more brownish on my lips as you can see my natural lip color coming through. Applying can be a bit of a hassle, it is a tiny bit streaky.

It looks real vampy on me. Notice how the I am wearing the same make up with only different lipsticks. 204 drags down my face and makes my dark circles more apparent. I like it though, I willingly wore no concealer that day.
