Dior Mono Couleur Couture Eyeshadow - 658 Beige Mitzah - Review
Today’s review is going to be a single eyeshadow. It’s a perfectly wearable color, even for people like myself, who don’t like to wear bright or dark colors on the eyes.
The packaging is gorgeous and it contains everything needed for a single eyeshadow. It’s perfect for traveling especially. It has a mirror and a small applicator. This type of applicator might not be that popular, but it is functional and really easy to work with.
It’s a neutral toned, slightly warm-toned beige color with a metallic finish. It has golden glitter pigments in it, but even a few pink glitter pigments that I can’t catch on camera. It is almost not noticeable, but it gives the shade another unique layer.
Even though it’s a rather tame color, it is full of pigment. It is common for luxury eyeshadows to be less pigmented, but it is not the case with this one. It swatches strongly.
On the eyes it’s the most beautiful shade that creates depth for your eye, and it can be used really effortlessly. For me personally, I like to wear bright colors on the lips instead of the eyes. If you’re like me and you tend to shy away from most eyeshadows, this shade is perfect. You can deepen the color if you use it more generously, or you can use less but still make an impression.
I actually use the given applicator for this one and I recommend using it for this formula, because it will really pull off that metallic look.
There is nothing to complain about in terms of longevity, it stays put on the eyes until removed. Keep in mind I used an eyeshadow primer as well. The biggest flaw of this eyeshadow is definitely the shelf life of only 6 months. That generally goes for most Dior eyeshadows. Most people are not going to use their eyeshadow within 6 months, but if you buy one, keep in mind that you want to use it regularly.
Nevertheless, I strongly recommend this eyeshadow to people who are looking for the perfect neutral shadow.
