Canmake - Cream Cheek P01 Peach Dazzle, P02 Rose Petal - Review

I have recently had an obsession with products in pearl finishes. I think they are perfect whenever matts are too boring, and metallics are too lively. Naturally I was hyped when I found out that the famous Cream Cheek by Canmake has a pearl finish version, and I bought both shades that were available: Peach Dazzle and Rose Petal.

As for the packaging, I have to say they are really really small. It is not that they do not hold enough product, it is just maybe the smallest blush I own lol.
The design is quite pretty, but it looks actually not stable enough to travel with. I am also kind of worried that they might melt, like I have heard before.

Peach Dazzle is a light slightly warm-toned pinky peach color. It does not turn out to be as warm as it looks in the pan. It is weird, because both shades look really different from the pan to me.

Rose Petal is a slightly warm-toned pinky peach to me as well, but medium-dark. That’s right. It does not look like that even in the swatch above, but in the more blended out and non-light reflexive swatch below (Rose Petal is the first color down below), it looks very warm. I think that it leans warm on the face as well.
Both shades have a true pearl finish that is not too light reflective not to matte.

In this photo, I am wearing Peach Dazzle on the left and Rose Petal on the right side (from our point of view). I got to say that it looked exactly the same to me in person, and my boyfriend also told me so. Taking a closer look at the photo, I can see the difference. Peach Dazzle even leans a bit more orange on the cheeks.

I got to say that I love the finish and colors of these, but they lack a bit in terms of performance. Cream blushes in general are not always the easiest to work with. These I felt kind of moved around my foundation, and I had trouble to make them even show up. You might say they are not strongly pigmented, which I actually prefer for blushes.
It did not stay on well in the area around my eye sockets which tends to be oily. I had to use a lot of product for the outcome you can see on my photo.
Besides that, the longevity is not great. It stayed visible for maybe 4 hours before vanishing. I will still use this, but rather as a base for powder blushes.
